The action thriller Maharaja has had a strong debut on Netflix after the excellent box office performance which saw it becoming the first Tamil movie of 2024 to top Rs 100 crs gross worldwide.

Vijay Sethupathi starrer Maharaja is directed by Nithilan Swaminathan and it also starred Anurag Kashyap, Sachana Namidass, Abhirami Gopikumar, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Manikandan, Mamta Mohandas, Natarajan Subramaniam, Singampuli and Bharathiraja. The movie started streaming on Netflix on 12th July, 4 weeks after its theatrical release on 14th June.
