Plus points:

· Performance

· Rao Ramesh

· Ankith Koyya

· First half

· Pre Climax and Climax

Minus points:

· Second half little bit dragged

· Outdates comedy scenes

· Simple story

· Screenplay

Performance: The performance of all the actors are good. Rao Ramesh took the lead in this film and brilliantly portrayed a middle-class man grappling with financial struggles. Rao Ramesh’s dialogues and his gestures made the viewers laugh. Indraja impressed in the role of responsible housewife who hold the family together . Ankith Koyya’s performance is very good. He wins hearts again with his comic timing. Ramya Pasupuleti delivers a decent performance. Harshavardhan, Annapoornamma, Praveen, Nukaraju and rest of the cast also did justice to their roles.

Technical: The story of Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam is simple. Coming on the work of director Lakshman Karya, he does a good job but he disappoints in terms of screenplay. Kalyan Naik’s BGM are ok. The songs are good. If the editor Bonthala Nageswara Reddy had trimmed the unnecessary scenes more tightly, it would have been a plus for the movie. Cinematography is good. Producers Bujji Rayudu Pentyala and Mohan Karya’s production values are good.

Analysis: Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam is a comedy caper. The characters of ‘Rao Ramesh and Ankith Koya’ are impressive. The first 45 minutes are filled with humor and the interval twist manages to recapture interest. One time watch.
