Massive price cut for LPG cylinder being imposed from June 1 

With an immediate effect from June 1st, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder has been diminished by Rs 135. A 19 kg commercial Liquified Petroleum Gas cylinder in Delhi will now costs at Rs 2,219, with the latest reduction. Before the price cut, it’s price was Rs 2,454 in Kolkata, Rs 2,306 in Mumbai and in Chennai, it was Rs 2,507.

So now, the respective cities can also purchase the cylinder with the cut down prices. But this reduction in price is only valid for commercial ones and not the domestic LPG cylinders.

The price of an LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 50, earlier in the first week of May. Whereas on May 1st, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was hiked by Rs 102.50 to Rs 2,355.50.More than 5000 LPG panchayats were chaired by oil marketing entities on May 1st, marking the Ujjwala Diwas, where apart from experience sharing, aimed at safe and sustained usage of LPG, all-out endeavours were made to boost customers registration.
