Mekapati condemns cross voting allegation

YSRCP MLA from Udayagiri constituency Mekapati Chandrashekar Reddy said that he has not cross voted to TDP in the MLA quota MLC elections. He stressed that he is not happy with YSRCP top leadership but did not betray the party in MLC elections.

“It is true that I’m not happy with YSRCP leadership. But I don’t have any need to cross vote to TDP. I have voted to YSRCP in the MLA quota MLC elections. But some people are intentionally spreading news in media and social media that I have done cross voting. This is absolutely ridiculous,” said Udayagiri MLA Mekapati Chandrashekar Reddy speaking to media.

Mekapati Chandrashekar Reddy has been unhappy with AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for quite some time now. He has openly expressed his displeasure that YS Jagan is not approachable to MLAs. Therefore YSRCP cadres and political observers have been thinking that he might have cross voted to TDP in MLC elections.
