In a recent gathering at the Dr. BR Ambedkar Memorial located on Necklace Road, Minister Jupalli Krishnarao reaffirmed the government’s dedication to the well-being of employees within the power department. As a symbol of collaboration and unity, Krishnarao, accompanied by former MP Mallu Ravi, unveiled the Telangana Electricity Employees Association’s diary and calendar.
During his address, Minister Krishnarao didn’t shy away from addressing past governance issues. He pointedly criticized the BRS rule in Telangana, citing unfulfilled promises and a ballooning debt of Rs. 7 lakh crore over a ten-year span. This substantial financial burden left by the previous administration serves as a stark reminder of the challenges faced and the expectations that remained unmet.
However, in a message of hope and commitment, Krishnarao assured the attendees that the current government remains steadfast in its resolve. He pledged to honor the promises set forth by the Congress government, signaling a renewed focus on addressing past grievances and working collaboratively with employees for a brighter future in the power sector.
