Gadari Kishore Kumar, popular BRS MLA representing Thungathurthy constituency is eyeing hat-trick this time and leaving no stone unturned to register a victory in the upcoming Assembly polls. As CM K Chandrashekar Rao has announced the BRS candidates well ahead, Gadari Kishore has been campaigning in full throttle and is way ahead in the poll preparations.
A skillful orator, Gadari Kishore rose from being a student leader to one of the prominent young leaders in BRS, with his commitment during Telangana movement and loyalty towards KCR. Recognising Gadari Kishore contributions to Telangana movement and TRS-turned-BRS party, CM KCR chose him to fight from Thungathurthi constituency.
Owing to his grassroots connect and experience as Osmania University student leader, Gadari Kishore registered a victory from Tungathurti constituency, once-considered a Congress stronghold. Not just has he won, but also laid a strong foundation for Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party in the constituency. Minister Jagadish Reddy’s backing also aids in strengthening two-time MLA Gadari Kishore’s leadership in this SC-reserved Assembly segment.
While MLA Gadari Kishore is banking on KCR’s welfare schemes and his personal rapport with the voters at ground level to score a hat-trick, another biggest advantage for him is a weak opposition. A popular face, Addanki Dayakar from Congress, fought against Gadari Kishore in the last two elections and lost.
According to inputs from Tungathurty constituency, Addanki Dayakar, though a popular face at state level, is said to be not in touch with the constituency and failed to build a base of his own. As a result he is facing opposition from his own party men.
On the other side, BJP, another Opposition party in Telangana, has not much presence in this rural constituency. All these equations and scenarios point towards a comfortable victory for BRS MLA Gadari Kishore in the 2023 Assembly elections.
