Mahabubabad’s Congress MLA, Murali Naik, has leveled serious allegations against RS leaders, accusing them of engaging in large-scale land grabbing activities. Naik’s assertions came to the fore during a democracy program hosted by the Congress government in Mahabubabad, where he vocally criticized the alleged appropriation of government-owned lands in the district. He highlighted a startling claim: over a decade, BRS leaders have purportedly seized approximately 3,000 acres of government land, consolidating vast tracts into a mere fraction of the original size.
Naik’s sharp stance was underscored by a firm warning, urging those responsible for the land grabs to relinquish their holdings promptly. His impassioned remarks gained further traction as protests erupted recently on January 2 at Praja Bhavan. At the heart of these demonstrations were allegations against Khairatabad BRS MLA, Danam Nagender, suggesting a broader and more systemic issue of land encroachments linked to BRS leaders across Telangana. Such developments cast a shadow on the region’s political integrity, prompting renewed scrutiny and demands for accountability amidst the ongoing controversies.
