We have already reported that Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu has joined the cast of Disney’s much-anticipated film, Mufasa: The Lion King, where he will voice the character of Mufasa in the Telugu version. Helmed by Barry Jenkins, Mufasa: The Lion King is set to release in India on December 20 and it will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
Today, the makers of Mufasa: The Lion King, released the Telugu version trailer showcasing Mahesh Babu’s voice as Mufasa. The trailer is visually stunning, with Mahesh Babu’ powerful voice adds remarkable depth and gravitas to the beloved character.

Mahesh babu shared his excitement on social media, stating, “A new dimension to the character we know and love! Extremely excited to be voice of Mufasa in Telugu and having been the massive fan of the classic, this is a special one for me! Long live the king.”
Mahesh Babu was last seen in Guntur Kaaram, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, where he starred alongside Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sree Leela, Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu and others. He is currently preparing for his role in SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated project, which is tentatively titled SSMB29.
