Mass 4K Box Office Collections: King Nagarjuna’s 2004 Telugu action drama Mass was re released in theatres on Wednesday, August 28, on the occasion of actor’s 65th birthday. Fans of Nagarjuna were clearly very excited about the re-release as they gathered outside movie theatres to celebrate by bursting crackers. But unfortunately Mass 4K version underperformed at the box office after re release.
Mass 4K collected a gross of 22 lakhs worldwide on its first day, with 17-18 lakhs from the Telugu states. This pales in comparison to the record-breaking collections of Mahesh Babu starrer Murari (Rs 9 crs) and the decent performance of Chiranjeevi starrer Indra 4K.

Nagarjuna is essaying the titular character in Maas. The movie is based on the life of Mass, who is in love with Anjali, the daughter of gangster Satya. The twist arises in the story when Anjali’s other brother Seshu kills Mass’ best friend Aadi.
The upcoming re-release of Pawan Kalyan’ “Gabbar Singh 4K” is also generating buzz.
