The impending release of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is all set to strike on August 29, 2024. As the buzz is already in the air, the lead actor of the film, Nani, has gone into overdrive promoting the movie on every possible platform. Nani, in an interview recently given to Suhasini in Tamil, spoke about the film Beast, released in 2022, and starring Vijay.
While Beast performed below par at the box office and was also termed a flop, Nani appreciated the movie. He liked the action in the movie and the way Vijay carried his on-screen presence, looking “cool” throughout the movie. The actor said though he loved the movie, it did not appeal to the audience as expected, and hence it performed badly. He agrees that fans wanted something else and did not get it in the storyline or direction of the movie, which then disappointed them.

Beast, helmed by Nelson and featuring the female lead, Pooja Hegde, was made on a grand scale and lay in the high expectations bracket. But it fell flat because it failed to excite. Reflecting on the outcome of his film, he felt happy to see the good comeback of director Nelson with Jailer, featuring the iconic Rajinikanth. He complimented Nelson’s resilience and adaptability to survive the rug which throws ups and downs into the film industry.
Nani sounds optimistic about the movie and respectful towards the cinema itself. He says he supports his colleagues, even if they had failures in the past. Since he is still promoting Saripodhaa Sanivaram, the passion of cinema is well evident in Nani, promising hope for his new release.
