Recently Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan criticized the shift in South Indian cinema from depicting heroes as protectors of nature to portraying them as smugglers. His comments sparked speculation that they were a veiled critique of Icon star Allu Arjun’s character in Pushpa. Finally the producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers has put to rest several speculations surrounding Pushpa 2 The Rule.
Pushpa 2 The Rule starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, helmed by Sukumar is one of the most awaited movies of 2024. The movie is slated to hit the theaters on 6th December 2024 in multiple languages.

The producer Ravi Shankar revealed that PawanKalyan’s comments on smuggling backdrop movies have no relevance to his upcoming production venture Pushpa 2 The Rule.
He also revealed, “2 September will complete the edit of the first half. The second half edit will be completed by 6 October. By 20th November the final copy will be getting ready and on 25 November, the movie will complete the censor formalities. The film will be released on 6th December.”
