The grandly built new Secretariat has been inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao recently. While there has been lot of criticism over new Secretariat, KCR has taken it as a prestigious issue and built it. But surprisingly officials are not allowing any leader belonging to opposition parties into new Secretariat.
BJP MLA Raja Singh was denied entry into new Secretariat on Saturday. Raja Singh condemned security officials for not allowing him to enter Secretariat, though he came on the invitation of Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, to attend a meeting relating to Hyderabad district development.
Earlier TPCC president and MP Revanth Reddy was also denied entry into new Secretariat. TJS founder Kodandaram was also not allowed to enter into new Secretariat. Don’t know the exact reason but it seems BRS Government is fearing about opposition leaders exposing the shortcomings in construction if any by Opposition leaders.
