The 83rd edition of Numaish, Hyderabad’s largest exhibition center, was inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. This annual event, held at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds, is set to run until February 15, 2024. Numaish is considered a significant part of Hyderabad’s identity, much like the Charminar and Tank Bund.
The exhibition features over 2,500 stalls and is not just a shopping destination but a convergence of commerce, business, and recreation. It is expected to attract around 25 lakh visitors. The exhibition is open from 4 pm to 10:30 pm on weekdays and until 11 pm on weekends. Special days have been allocated for women and children, with ‘Ladies Day’ on January 9 and ‘Children Special’ on January 31, during which men will not be permitted entry.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasized the importance of Numaish in enhancing Hyderabad’s brand image and assured support from the State government to the Exhibition Society, which runs numerous educational institutions. He also assured cooperation in upgrading the Kamala Nehru Polytechnic College to an engineering college.
