A nurse was R…ed and murdered while returning home from hospital after her duty in Uttarakhand, and a daily wage labourer was arrested.
Her body was found after 9 days by the police who conducted a search on the complaint of the victim’s sister. This shameless incident took place in Bilaspur on the border of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. According to the police, a woman from Bilaspur is working as a nurse in a private hospital in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. She lives in Bilaspur with her eleven-year-old daughter and goes to Rudrapur every day. The victim who went to duty on July 30 did not return home at night. As the victim’s phone got switched off, her sister lodged a complaint with the police the next morning. An FIR was registered and the police launched a search operation. When examining the footage of the CCTV cameras around the hospital, it was seen that the victim was leaving in an auto. It is not known where it went after that. A week later, police found the body near the victim’s house in Bilaspur.

The police sent her body for post-mortem and formed a police team to find the accused.
Dharmendra –the accused, a daily wage labourer from UP’ Bareilly, was arrested from Rajasthan on Wednesday.
Dharmendra, who was drunk, saw the victim, followed her and later attacked her while she was about to enter her apartment building. Dharmendra dragged the nurse to the nearby bushes. R…d and strangled her using her scarf.
