It is known that Allu Sirish is currently working with Tamil director Sam Anton for the film Buddy. The first look and first single, which was released recently, have received a positive response from the audience. According to the latest report, the release of Allu Sirish starrer Buddy has been postponed.

Initially the movie was set to hit the screens on July 26, 2024. According to the makers, Buddy will be released on 2nd August 2024 Worldwide in a very grand manner. The makers confirmed the same by releasing a new poster on social media platform. The poster features Allu Sirish in a powerful stance, holding a gun, with his companion and ‘Buddy’ Teddy by his side.

Gayatri Bhardwaj is playing the female lead in this. Apart from lead actors, Buddy also has Ajmal Amir, Prisha Singh, Mukesh Rishi, Mohammed Ali, and others in the important roles.

Allu Sirish starrer Buddy is the remake of the 2021 Tamil fantasy action movie Teddy. And it revolves around a Teddy bear with a human soul. Helmed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, the Telugu version of the film is directed and written by Sam Anton. Hip Hop Tamizha is composing the music and it is bankrolled by renowned production house Studio Green.
