TPCC chief and MP Revanth Reddy alleged, BRS MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy is spoiling Kakatiya University (KU) to benefit his private university. Revanth Reddy visited KU on Wednesday and interacted with students, who have been on hunger strike protesting against the irregularities in Ph.D admissions.
Revanth Reddy convinced students to end hunger strike and assured them of justice after Congress comes back to power. Revanth Reddy urged students to not get disheartened as Congress will put an end to all the irregularities in Kakatiya University.
“Kakatiya University has played a key role in Telangana movement. KCR and Palla Rajeshwar Reddy are intentionlly troubling students to stop their growth. KCR fears the socially conscious and courageous students of KU. It is extremely objectionable that Ph.D admissions were given to BRS student wing members, by neglecting the eligible candidates. All these irregularities are done under the supervision of Palla Rajeshwar Reddy,” said Revanth Reddy speaking at KU, Warangal.
Revanth Reddy also fired on KU VC for irregularities. He found fault with VC for police attacks on students, terming it as a shame on the part of VC to act as Palla Rajeshwar Reddy’s stooge instead of being students’s wellwisher.
