Congress candidate in Munugode bye election Palvai Sravanthi Reddy filed nomination on Friday. She filed nomination amid show of power by Congress leaders and cadres. Palvai Sravanthi Reddy filed nomination at Chandur Tahsildar office. Before filing nominations, Congress cadres took out a huge rally, in a show of their strength.
TPCC president Revanth Reddy, MP and former TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy, CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka, former Minister Jana Reddy, Damodar Reddy and others took part in the rally and were on the side of Palvai Sravanthi Reddy on the day of nominations. As BJP and TRS are using all their might to win by polls, Congress party also decided to prove their strength on the day of nomination. Congress cadres from Munugode and neighbouring constituencies turned up in large number on the occasion of filing nominations.
“I’m thankful for the party senior leaders and cadres for supporting me in Munugode bye polls. I’m confident that Congress party will win Munugode bye polls by crushing BJP and TRS. The huge turnout for rally during the nomination, indicates that people are rallying behind Congress and will teach a lesson to BJP’s Rajagopal Reddy and TRS’s Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy,” said Palvai Sravanthi Reddy after filing nominations.
