Power Star Pawan Kalyan starred in a romantic drama Kushi which was helmed by SJ Suryah. The movie was a blockbuster at the box office. Later SJ Suryah teamed up with Pawan Kalyan once again and came up with Puli which turned out commercially flop at the box office and disappointed the movie lovers.
Recently during the media interaction SJ Suryah revealed that after the release of Kushi, he also penned a script for Power Star but he outrightly rejected it.

During the promotions of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, SJ Suryah said, “Once I penned a script for Power Star which was never made into a film. I wrote the script in Telugu, and that’s when I learned the language. It was written exclusively for Pawan Kalyan. Though he licked it but said no to me.”
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has natural star Nani in the lead role. Helmed by Vivek Athreya, produced by DVV Danayya, the upcoming action drama has Priyanka Arul Mohan as the leading lady.
