Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Jana Sena chief won the general elections in Andhra Pradesh, in alliance with TDP and BJP. He took the charge as Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Within 100 days of Pawan Kalyan taking charge as Panchayat Raj Minister, the department created a World record. The Panchayati Raj Rural Development Department has set a world record for holding the largest number of Gram Sabhas in a single day.
Pawan Kalyan achieved a world record within 100 days. On August 23, gram sabhas were held in 13,326 panchayats across the state, setting a record. On this occasion, resolutions were passed for employment guarantee works worth Rs.4,500 crores. This is the biggest event and it has been recognized by the World Records Union

Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan expressed his happiness and congratulated the authorities and the representatives of the local organizations who participated in the success of the Gram Sabhas. He thanked Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for participating in the Gram Sabha and giving direction. He thanked the state ministers, MLAs and MPs for participating in the gram sabhas.
Pawan Kalyan expressed his happiness over the Government of Andhra Pradesh receiving this recognition from the World Records Union.
