Pi Square Technologies, a Detroit headquartered US Tech company opened its Global Delivery Centre in Hyderabad yesterday. The Centre will concentrate on data science and analytics, IoT, cyber security, animation, VFX, virtual reality and VR among others. It will help in serving global technology entities in North America, Europe and APAC regions.
Jayesh Ranjan, who is the Principal Secretary of IT and Industries, has launched the Global Delivery Centre, which is located at Mindspace in Hitech City. It will be started with 300 employees and the number will be increased to over 1,000 in the approaching couple of years. An animation studio, named Hornbill Studio has been instituted in the Centre. The studio will provide visual technology solutions from pre-production to post-production, animation and VFX, global media majors.
To form global delivery centres and technology hubs, Hyderabad has been captivating firms from all over the world. This is an endorsement to the growing stature of Hyderabad not just at the national level but also at the international level. Jayesh Ranjan said, “I am glad that Hornbill Studios has been set up in Hyderabad. Telangana government has been working on policies to reinforce the animation industry in the state. We are decided to provide an ecosystem for growth which will make Hyderabad the Animation Capital of the world.”
It is said by the company President Sarath Kothapalli that future emerging technologies will be at the heart of their Global Delivery Centre in Hyderabad. Their efforts will be to provide thebest of future digital experience to their global clients. The company’s launch ceremony was graced by some officials like its CEO Srinivasa Raju, PowerKids Entertainment CEO Manoj Mishra and CodeClinic Vice President Frank Waldman.
