Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has had a hectic schedule in the United States where he attended important events one after the other. This includes the Quad Summit and a special event for the Indian diaspora on Tuesday followed by a roundtable meet with CEOs of major tech companies. This roundtable was organized by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology School of Engineering at a hotel in New York.

Those who attended included Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, and many others from the 15 top companies. Prime Minister Modi took to his ‘X’ account to share a picture taken from the meeting, stating that the talks came along very well. According to him, the topic of discussion was technology, innovation, as well as the future prospects of any industry.

The discussions were dominated by the slogan “Made in India,” as elaborated by Modi during the discussions, which reflects his dream of boosting India’s technological capabilities and further raising its stature internationally in the tech world. This meeting in itself marks a ground-breaking step for collaboration between India and the big tech players, resulting in investments, increased innovation, and positive benefits to the Indian economy.

India discussed its ambitions in the digital space, mainly with a focus on technology and innovation, during these discussions. As Prime Minister Modi looks ahead to future growth, his interactions with these influential CEOs will assist him in positioning India as a center for technological advances, further solidifying the country’s commitment toward the development of digital infrastructure and a robust innovation ecosystem.
