The controversy over Tirupati Laddu has moved beyond the political realms and has now spilled over into the film industry as well. Actor Prakash Raj recently tweeted targeting Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, which was called in a reverse by Pawan Kalyan at a press meet. Replied the counter by Prakash Raj to Pawan Kalyan’s remarks.
Pawan Kalyan met the media persons after conducting purification rituals at Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada. On Prakash Raj’s tweet questioning what connection he had with the Tirupati Laddu issue, where they were fighting against adulteration of the sacred offering, Pawan clarified that he did not demean any religion and questioned Prakash Raj’s involvement and asked him to understand that secularism works both ways, not one-sided. He also respects Prakash Raj but warns him not to lessen that by giving unwarranted statements.
Prakash Raj who is presently out of the country to shoot something, responded to Pawan Kalyan’s statements.

He said he never knew how Pawan would understand his tweet and was shocked at what Pawan thought. He assured everybody that he would write back in detail when he goes to India and sarcastically suggested Pawan read the tweet for better understanding.
But Jana Sena supporters retorted saying they understood and asked him not to thrust his personal grudges with the Central Government on everybody’s throats. They were tweeting that Pawan Kalyan had already discussed the issue with Chief Minister Chandrababu and legal recourse was in action and SIT also formed.
They also went on to assert that the controversy surrounding the Laddu, which allegedly was made from animal fat, hurt the sentiments of millions of Hindus worldwide, and such acts need to be condemned. The tweet also reminded Prakash Raj to consider the impact of this incident on Hindus worldwide and should not carry any personal biases.
