The Cricket World Cup 2023 final in Ahmedabad is set to be a grand event, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi confirmed to attend. The final match, which features India versus Australia, will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium. This eventful day will be marked by several special activities, including a ten-minute-long air show performed by the Surya Kiran aerobatic team of the Indian Air Force before the match and a mid-innings performance by renowned composer Pritam. Additionally, the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, Richard Marles, will also be present.
The air show, led by Wing Commander Sidesh Kartik, will feature nine aircraft from the Indian Air Force performing a vertical air show above the stadium. As the national anthem concludes, there will be a fly-past. During half-time, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will honor the captains of all the teams that have won the World Cup so far, including Indian cricket legends Kapil Dev and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Pritam’s performance will include over 500 dancers on customized floats, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
