The 54th Kerala State Film Awards have just been declared, and Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life emerges as its biggest winner, winning nine awards. Among them, Blessy was adjudged the Best Director, and Prithviraj Sukumaran bagged the Best Actor award to seal the fate of the film.

The technical brilliance of the film was also recognized in its winning, with Oscar-winner Sharath Mohan and Resul Pookutty getting the award for Best Sound Mixing, while K.S.
