Amazon Prime Video, India’ most loved entertainment destination, announced August 23rd as the global streaming premiere date of Raayan which has Dhanush in the lead role.
Apart from playing the lead role, Dhanush also helmed this revenge drama, which is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures.
Apart from Dhanush, the movie also has SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Selva Raghavan, Saravanan, Dushara Vijayan Prakash Raj and Aparna Balamurali in the important roles.

Raayan will be available to stream on Prime Video in Tamil with dubs in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide, on 23rd August.
Raayan is the 50th movie of Dhanush’s career. The movie is against the backdrop of 1990s Chennai, and it follows the story of a humble hotel manager who becomes the guardian of his younger siblings after their parents mysteriously disappear. The revenge drama delves into Raayan’s struggle to confront this betrayal and protect his family.
