Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress party is gearing up to meet the members of the civil society at the Constitution Club in Delhi on the 22nd of this month. Sources said Rahul Gandhi will discuss his Bharat Jodo Yatra in detail with nearly 150 delegates like representatives from civil society, writers, and intellectuals at the Constitution Club meeting.
During the meeting, the Congress party will elucidate to civil society members what its Bharat Jodo Yatra is all about and how people can actively take part in it. The party officials are planning to launch the logo, tagline, and website for Bharat Jodo Yatra at AICC headquarters. They will introduce Bharat Jodo Yatra on the 7th of September at Kanyakumari. It will be 3,500 km long and a 150-day non-stop padayatra. During padayatra, the party will cover 12 states across the nation.
Already a meeting was held on August 18 at AICC headquarters in Delhi wherein the who’s who of the Congress party were present to discuss its huge rally in Delhi on the issue of the price increase. Jairam Ramesh, the General Secretary of AICC said, “Keeping the Covid situation in mind, we have changed the date of this mega rally from August 28 to September 4.”
