It is known that Shraddha Kapoor starrer horror comedy drama Stree 2 is doing superb collections at the box office. Now according to the latest report, Rashmika Mandanna is also going to test her luck in horror films. Animal and Geetha Govindam fame Rashmika Mandanna has signed a horror film Vampires of Vijay Nagar, which has Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role.
Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna are all set to commence shooting in Mumbai in October. The sources say that the director Aditya Sarpotdar will start shooting in the first week of October, with the lead actors joining by the 3rdweek. The film’s concept was introduced in the final scenes of Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2.
The upcoming film Vampires of Vijay Nagar is set against two distinct backdrops – the present day in a small North Indian town, and ancient city of Vijayanagara.

The sources say that Rashmika Mandanna has a more complex role and will sport a unique look in Vampires of Vijay Nagar whereas Ayushmann Khurrana’s character is an “adventure-loving sports enthusiast.
History of Vijayanagara, which was capital of Vijayanagara Empire in 14th century, will likely play an important role in the story.
In Tollywood, Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2 The Rule.
