The trend of re-releasing old classic films in Tollywood started. Some more super hit films of the superstars have lined up to reach the theatres. The already re-released movies have been running with good collections at the box office. On average, it is earning from five to six crores per week. Now, following this victory, producers are preparing to re-release movies of star actors one after the other. Recently, Mahesh Babu’s “Murari” made much noise when it was re-released on his birthday. Now, producers are getting ready to bring back two of the super hit films of Pan-India Superstar Prabhas to the big screens.

Upcoming Re-Releases of Prabhas’ Films
With actor Prabhas’ birthday slated on October 23, reports suggest that two of his blockbuster movies will be re-released as part of the celebrations. Though these films get frequently telecast on television, the producers were of the view that the big screen experience will be something new for the audience. The producers have already sounded a confident note that Prabhas’ massive following would come in droves to watch these movies on the big screen.
Films to be re-released include “Darling”, which would release into theatres again on September 23. “Darling” was released in the year 2010, and it was a huge success because of the fact that it was a perfect blend of comedy, romance, action, and love; it reached the box office. Opposite Prabhas for this movie is Kajal Aggarwal, and it is the evergreen songs of that film that captured a lot of attention years after its release. Now, with the re-release of “Darling,” fans have another reason to relive that magic on the big screen one more time.

Prabhas Debut Film “Eshwar” to Re-Release on His Birthday
The film which was a debut for Prabhas, ” Eshwar,” too is going to be a special re-release in theatres on October 23 as it is his birthday. Released in 2002, “Eshwar” did quite well at the box office and marked the beginning of the successful career which Prabhas would go on to have. Here, it shows how an impoverished young man in the slums falls in love with a rich girl and defies the elements to marry her.
Current and Upcoming Projects of Prabhas
Currently, he is busy shooting for the film “The Raja Saheb.” Apart from that, he has also started working on another film with Hanu Raghavapudi. Fans can further look forward to sequels like “Kalki 2” and “Salaar 2” and the highly anticipated film “Spirit” with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. While all of these interesting projects are being worked on by Prabhas, a lot is in store for the fans in terms of new releases along with classic re-releases.
