Revanth Reddy Inaugurates 83rd Numaish Exhibition in Hyderabad

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated the 83rd All India Industrial Exhibition, commonly referred to as Numaish, at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds, marking a significant cultural and commercial milestone for Hyderabad. Alongside iconic landmarks like Charminar and Tank Bund, the annual 45-day event has become an integral part of the city’s identity.

During the inauguration ceremony, Chief Minister Reddy commended the Industrial Exhibition Society for maintaining the event’s prestige year after year. He assured the society of the State government’s unwavering support, emphasizing the resolution of challenges faced by the society to elevate Hyderabad’s brand image. Reddy pledged proactive measures to address pending issues, emphasizing the promotion of women entrepreneurs in the industrial sector.

Highlighting the societal contributions of the Exhibition Society, Reddy acknowledged its management of educational institutions committed to social responsibility. He announced plans for the government’s support in upgrading the Kamala Nehru Polytechnic College to an engineering college, reflecting the administration’s commitment to educational advancement.

The inaugural event witnessed participation from notable figures, including IT Minister and Exhibition Society President D. Sridhar Babu and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, alongside various society members. This year’s exhibition features a diverse range of participants, including renowned city-based food outlets and government agencies such as DWACRA, TMERIS, and the Traffic Police.

Operating hours for the exhibition are set from 4 pm to 10:30 pm on weekdays, extending until 11 pm on weekends, with an entry fee of Rs. 40. To foster inclusivity, special days have been designated exclusively for women and children on January 9 and 31, anticipating an estimated turnout of 25 lakh visitors.

In summary, the 83rd All India Industrial Exhibition symbolizes a collaborative endeavor between the government and the Exhibition Society to promote commerce, culture, and community engagement, while also addressing key educational and societal objectives in Hyderabad.
