Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala surprised everyone with their engagement on 8th August 2024. While Akkineni family accepted Sobhita Dhulipala whole-heartedly, there is a buzz in the film industry that Daggubati family members are not happy with this engagement.
Entire Daggubati family, including Venkatesh Daggubati, Rana Daggubati and even his sister Malvika Daggubati do not follow Sobhita Dhulipala on social media but they follow Naga Chaitanya’s ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

The sources also revealed that only member of the Daggubati family in attendance at Naga Chaitanya- Sobhita’ engagement was Chaitu’ mother, Lakshmi, along with her second husband. No one from the Daggubati family congratulated Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita officially on social media that is also surprising.
Despite the divorce, Daggubatis- Venkatesh and others continue to respond to posts from Samantha Ruth Prabhu whereas none of the family members except Naga Chaitanya’ mother Laxmi is following Sobhita Dhulipala.
On the work front Naga Chaitanya is currently sharing the screen space with Sai Pallavi in Thandel. Meanwhile Samantha will be seen in web drama Citadel Honey Bunny.
