Though the firing incident outside the house of Bollywood star Salman Khan took place sometime ago, the case has continued to unfold new twists. In a dramatic turn of events, infamous gangster Dawood Ibrahim is learnt to have emerged as an accused in the case. The families of the accused in the Salman Khan house firing have written letters to the Maharashtra and Bihar governments citing that the accused are under threat from Dawood. Speculation thereby doing the rounds of Dawood supporting Salman Khan is going into the rounds and is a hot topic in Bollywood.
What Happened?
On April 14, two youths, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, came from Gujarat and fired shots outside Salman Khan’s building, Galaxy Apartments, in Mumbai. The police arrested the two youths right after the incident, and during interrogation, it came out that they had links with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The entire incident sent shockwaves in Bollywood, as questions flooded many minds: how did they reach Mumbai, how was the attack planned, and what was to be their next move after firing.
Recently, it came to light that families of Vicky and Sagar are claiming that the accused are under threat from Dawood Ibrahim. This has brought a fresh angle into the case.

Threat from Dawood’s Gang
Sonu Gupta, brother of Vicky, and Rahul Pal, brother of Sagar, belong to Majharia, a village in West Champaran district of Bihar. They have written to the Maharashtra and Bihar governments, claiming their families are in danger due to threats from Dawood Ibrahim’s gang. Vicky and Sagar are lodged in Taloja Jail and during family visits, the brothers told the families that Dawood’s men plan to eliminate them. The families are also apprehensive that the fate of Vicky and Sagar could be similar to that of Anuj Tapan, who died in custody.
Allegations of Salman-Dawood Connection
The details were also shared by the lawyer of Vicky Gupta with the media, confirming that Vicky and Sagar have applied on protection, fearing threats to their lives from Dawood’s D-Company. They have accused Salman Khan of having links with Dawood and claimed the gangster ordered his men to kill them. Letters have been sent to the central government as well as the Maharashtra and Bihar governments, requesting protection.
