Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka stated that Sardar Sarvai Papanna’s life was an ideal one. He participated as the chief guest for the 374th birth anniversary celebrations of Sardar Papanna Goud Maharaj, which were conducted at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad. As he spoke on the occasion, he asserted that the government is taking things forward with the ideals of Papanna. He said the government is doing its best for the underprivileged and the weaker sections. He announced that a statue of Sardar Papanna Goud would be installed in Hyderabad. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, Rajya Sabha member Anil Kumar Yadav participated in the programme.

Bhatti Vikramarka highlighted that Sardar Papanna fought for the rights of people during times when the constitution and laws were not in place. He laid emphasis on passing inspirational stories of Papanna to the future generations. A government order, he said, has been issued to develop Papanna’s native village as a tourist destination for which Rs 4.70 crore has been allocated. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar will oversee the construction of the Papanna Goud tourist center. Bhatti has also announced that pocket-sized books on Papanna, easy for public consumption, will be published and that the ideals of Papanna will act as a guiding light for Indiramma Rajyam.
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud, CM Revanth Reddy has released a message and paid homage to the great warrior. He highly acclaimed the extraneous history of Papanna—a Bahujan emperor who ruled Golconda, congregating political and social equality as the very essence. In this regard, the CM reiterated that the government is taking impetus from the spirit of Papanna, further carrying on his ideals.
