Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray will join Rahul Gandhi for Congress rally in Mumbai on Tuesday as Maha Vikas Aghadi -MVA mulls a CM face.
On the 80th birth anniversary of former PM Rajiv Gandhi, the Congress is set to launch its campaign for the Maharashtra Assembly polls on Tuesday. The party is holding a rally in Mumbai, where top leaders from the Congress and its allies in MVA the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) and the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party, will also be in attendance. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and AICC incharge for Maharashtra, Ramesh Chennithala will also make their presence.

MVA constituents- Congress, NCP (SP), and Shiv Sena (UBT) had declared to contest the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections together. Deliberations for sharing of seats are yet to gather momentum.
Congress has announced a meeting at 3 pm at Shanmukanand Auditorium in Mumbai, followed by a rally in Bandra Kurla Complex.
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar on 16th August announced the dates for Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana assembly elections, leaving out Maharashtra from the poll date announcement.
