Young tiger Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Devara is gearing up for the grand release on 27th September. The film helmed by Koratala Siva, has Saif Ali Khan in the role of villain. It is known that Jr NTR is playing dual role and late actress Sri Devi’ daughter Janhvi Kapoor is playing the love interest of young Jr NTR (Vara) whereas Shruti Marate will be seen in the role of elder Jr NTR’ wife.
Recently during an interview, Koratala Siva was asked the reason for Shrutu Marate’ casting, to which the director said: I want someone who looks like Devara’s wife, not an actress who does not like the second heroine. I don’t want to bring a known face for this role.
