She recently made headlines when she posted about reservations for people with disabilities in civil service exams, which stirred quite a debate. She is active on social media and frequently posts her personal opinions and sometimes looks for feedback from the netizens about various issues. Recently, she shared something interesting, but this time it wasn’t about her personal opinions; it was something related to governance. Smita Sabharwal has announced, “Give a great idea and win one lakh!”

In this, she wanted people to submit an innovative idea that would increase the revenue of the Telangana government. A cash prize up to one lakh rupees for such best ideas. She has requested the people to send their ideas to [email protected] by the end of this month, on or before August 30. The tweet immediately went viral across social media.
