Though it’s been almost eight months since the actress Sreeleela appeared on the big screen, the young actress is still in the news for one reason or another. Though she doesn’t sign many projects, Sreeleela manages to keep herself in the news by either attending pre-release events or some award functions.
Recently, several Bollywood sources claimed that Sreeleela will be seen opposite Sidharth Malhotra in the new family entertainer Mitti helmed by Balwinder Singh. This new project seems like another big leap for Sreeleela, who keeps on trying her luck in the Tamil film industry, too. According to recent Kollywood buzz, she reportedly is going to make her Tamil debut opposite popular actor Sivakarthikeyan.

She is reportedly making her bow into the Tamil film industry with Puranaanooru, which is said to be one of the most awaited projects in Kollywood. National Award-winning filmmaker Sudha Kongara will direct the film. Going by reports, a photoshoot feature with the lead pair has been done recently, which makes the wait for the film even more exciting.
If this rumor goes true, then Puranaanooru may emerge as a big launching pad for Sreeleela in the Tamil film industry, marking her presence in the industry. Meanwhile, she is also part of some Telugu films which are on the sets now such as Nithiin’s Robinhood, Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh, and Ravi Teja’s RT75. She being part of such huge projects constantly is proof of her growing stature in the film industry.
