Support has been growing for protesting wrestlers from all quarters. Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra and world cup winning cricket captain Kapil Dev are the latest to support the wrestlers fighting against Wrestling Federation of India’s chief Brij Bushan Sharan Singh.
Top league wrestlers Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia have been protesting accusing Brij Bushan Singh, who is also a BJP MP, of sexual harassment, threatening athletes. Though the protests of the wrestlers has been sending shockwaves across India, PM Modi Government has not reacted till now.
Though wrestlers protest against Brij Bushan, who is a BJP MP, is bringing disgrace to ruling party neither PM Narendra Modi nor BJP president JP Nadda has responded on the issue till now.
