ENG versus USA, T20 World Cup 2024: England Wins in Just 9.5 Overs In the T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 stage, England, the current champions, defeated the United States with a straightforward 10-wicket victory, securing their spot in the semifinals. This victory was crucial for England to increase their net run rate, despite their loss to South Africa in their previous match.

Batting first, the US was bowled out for 115 runs in 18.5 overs. England chased the target and won without losing a single wicket in just 9.5 overs. Britain’s commanders Jos Buttler and Phil Salt laid out a century organization for the main wicket, driving their group to an agreeable success. Buttler scored 83 runs off 38 balls, including six fours and seven sixes, remaining unbeaten, while Salt scored 25 runs off 21 balls with two fours.

With this amazing success, Britain currently beat the Very 8 round with four places, having won two out of three matches. At the moment, their net run rate, which is +1.992, is higher than that of South Africa and the West Indies.

The United States of America’s Struggle with the Bat After losing the toss and being put into bat, the American team struggled and consistently lost wickets. With 30 runs, Nitish Kumar led the United States, followed by Corey Anderson with 29 runs. Anderson had a decent organization for the 6th wicket with Harmeet Singh, who scored 21 runs. However, as soon as Harmeet was bowled out, the American innings collapsed quickly.

Jordan’s Full go-around

Britain’s Chris Jordan took a full go-around in the nineteenth over, excusing Corey Anderson, Ali Khan, Nosthush Kenjige, and Saurabh Netravalkar. Jordan became only the second bowler in the history of the T20 World Cup to score a hat trick. Only five American players were able to reach double digits. Jordan took four wickets at the end, while Sam Curran and Adil Rashid each took two.
