In Telangana, a war of words continues between the ruling Congress party and the opposition BRS. During the parliamentary election campaign, KCR (K. Chandrashekar Rao) made controversial remarks about Revanth Reddy, which required a clarification before the Election Commission. Even after this, BRS leaders have persistently targeted the CM with provocative comments.
On Tuesday, BRS leaders filed a case against CM Revanth Reddy at the Panjagutta Police Station. They accused Revanth Reddy of making inappropriate comments about former CM KCR. BRS leaders have expressed their dissatisfaction with Revanth Reddy’s remarks, arguing that as a state CM, he should not have made such comments. They have requested action against him.

During a gathering on August 20, organized in celebration of Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary, CM Revanth Reddy made statements suggesting that KCR’s arrogance remains unchanged despite his loss of power, and that his body still exudes strength. Revanth Reddy also criticized KTR, stating that after KCR’s death, KTR plans to install KCR’s statue in front of the Telangana Secretariat, despite KCR being involved in numerous scandals.
BRS leaders, including Mutha Gopal, Balksuman, and Dasoju Sravan, have lodged complaints with the Panjagutta Police Station demanding action against CM Revanth Reddy.
In recent days, Telangana has seen political controversies surrounding statues, with discussions ongoing about relocating the Telangana Mother statue from Tank Bund to the Secretariat grounds.
