Senior leader of united Andhra Pradesh and former Minister Mysura Reddy said Congress party has an edge in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections. Saying that there is a visibly upbeat talk about Congress post Karnataka victory, Mysura Reddy reasoned that, Congress is appearing as the main alternative to ruling BRS.
Mysura Reddy criticised Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao for claiming past Congress Government achievements as TRS-turned-BRS Government achievements. He expressed that people are looking towards change.
“KCR is claiming himself as Desh Ki Netha. But it is not working out. He has even changed his party’s name from Telangana Rashtra Samithi to Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi. But there is no response to his BRS plans from other states. Leave going national, KCR is facing opposition even in Telangana,” said Mysura Reddy.
“People are not happy as power is in the hands of KCR family and all others are neglected. KCR is claiming that he has turned Telangana into Bangaru Telangana. But YS Rajashekara Reddy had laid the foundation for Bangaru Telangana during Congress rule. KCR is just claiming the works done by previous Congress Governments as his own,” said Mysura Reddy, speaking to a media person in an interview.
