Anjali Ameer has opened up about a distressing experience she had with Suraj Venjaramoodu, during shoot of a project. Anjali, the first transgender actor in Mollywood, who worked with Mammootty in the Tamil film ‘Peranbu’, shared that Venjaramoodu’s behavior made her uncomfortable on set.

Recently during an interview Anjali Ameer claimed that Sooraj Venjaramoodu had asked her uncomfortable questions about ‘pleasure’ during the shooting of the film, which made her very upset.

Anjali Ameer said that she had warned the actor about this and also informed Mammootty about the incident. She said, ‘I had not faced any painful experience until Suraj Venjaramoodu asked me if transgender people get ‘pleasure’ like women.
I am a strong person, but this question made me angry. I warned him and told Mammootty and the director about it. After this, Venjaramoodu apologized and never spoke to me like that again’.
