The Telangana Rashtra Samithi is all set to acquire a six-seater jet plane for use by party president and chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao who is likely to criss-cross the nation soon after launching Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi and entering national politics.
The jet may take its initial flight as a TRS plane on Dasara, October 5, the same day when the chief minister might announce the launch of Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi.
KCR and his aides can make better use of time as they travel to various destinations in other states. It was learnt reliably that the commitment to buy the jet with the help of funds from the party kitty was taken to ensure Rao’s deed. The chief minister has been utilizing chartered aircraft so far.
Though speculation can rife that the plane could be an eight-seater or even a 12-seater, it was learnt that the TRS head settled for the 6-seater jet.
