TRS trying to postpone Munugode polls: Bandi Sanjay

On Tuesday, the BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that TRS was trying to postpone the by-election to Munugode Assembly constituency to save itself from an imminent defeat. The ruling party has filed a case in the High Court, on the pretext of fighting against free symbols to independents in the poll fray.

The BJP president accepted the decision taken by the court to scrap the TRS petition over free symbols. He said that Justice was always in favour of people and conspiracies will not succeed.

Seeking cancellation of free symbols, TRS approached the High Court fearing defeat in Munugode. BJP is posed to win over all the hurdles that the ruling party has been creating, said Sanjay.

Free symbols have been available from the time TRS has been in vogue but why is its leadership raising objections in this matter, he said he wanted to get aware of it.
