Union Minister and BJP State Chief, Kishan Reddy, revealed that the Central Government has earmarked a whopping ₹715 crores for the development of Secunderabad Railway Station. This significant investment aims to enhance the infrastructure and amenities at one of Telangana’s busiest railway hubs.
According to Reddy, the development plan will be implemented in three phases, with the initial phase already underway. During his inspection of the station premises, he observed the rapid progress of construction, particularly focusing on the construction of a multi-level car parking facility on platform 1.
Reddy also took the opportunity to review the ongoing modernization works at the station, discussing plans with Railway General Manager and other senior officials. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that the reconstruction work, situated near the international airport, does not inconvenience passengers.
Furthermore, Reddy assured that the revamped Secunderabad Railway Station will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to enhance the travel experience for commuters. He commended the Railway Department officials for their dedication and efforts in executing the project smoothly.
