People nowadays are looking to the OTT platforms for their entertainment. Keeping this in mind, makers are putting in efforts, and they have been successful in bringing new films to the audience through such a platform. Therefore, quality content over OTT platforms is growing. While some films make their way to OTT in one month, others take time.
One among them is Ninda, starring Varun Sandesh. Even though the movie’s OTT release was discussed earlier, it was not yet streamed. Recently, the makers have announced the OTT streaming date for the film.

Varun Sandesh is known for movies like New Bangaru Lokam and Happy Days. These movies have set high expectations from the films that he acted in later. His recent movies did not go well. Ninda, which was released in theatres on June 21, was expected to be a hit for Varun but it only secured mixed reviews.
The grapevine had it that its OTT release would be in August but the film never streamed in that time on any streaming platform. Now, with the passage of time, the OTT streaming date has been confirmed as the film gets forgotten in the minds of the viewers. The promising OTT platform ETV Win is all set to stream Ninda from September 6, onward. It needs to be seen how the film is received on OTT.

As for the plot, Ninda is based on a case wherein one Balraju is arrested in the case relating to the rape and murder of a young woman named Manju. Investigation proves his guilt, and he is sentenced to death. However, the judge himself feels that Balraju is not guilty and assigns the task to his son, working in the Human Rights Commission, to reinvestigate the case. As requested by his father, Vivek begins the investigation anew. The movie now deals with what new truths come to light during the investigation, to see if Balraju was really the culprit, and what follows thereafter.
