Thalapathy Vijay’s latest film, The Greatest of All Time in short, GOAT, gears up for its theatrical release on September 5, 2024. The film is directed by Venkat Prabhu, starring Meenakshi Chaudhary as the heroine. The movie, though, has commenced making noise in Tamil Nadu, since Vijay has an unparalleled fan base in the state. However, The GOAT is finding it tough to create a similar vibe in the Telugu states.
While Tamil Nadu is eagerly looking forward to this film, the promotional activities for this movie in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are dull. There is, therefore, a complete lack of buzz or visibility among the Telugu audience. The songs released so far also have failed to impress the Telugu film audience. This has been the reason for the subdued hype. To make matters worse, Vijay is unlikely to promote the film in Hyderabad, which would give this movie immense publicity in both these states.

As the release is imminent, it is time for director Venkat Prabhu and producer Archana Kalapathi to get heavier with promotional activities and to make the movie sound more promising to the Telugu audience. They have hardly any time left to create better prospects for The GOAT at the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Box Office. Furthermore, the movie bookings are yet to be started in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and this further raises the anxiety over its prospects.
