After the release of blockbuster drama RRR, SS Rajamouli made official announcement regarding his next project SSMB 29 in which Superstar Mahesh Babu will play the lead role. There is no doubt that SS Rajamouli is a filmmaker that everyone wants to work with. There is a strong buzz in the film industry that actor Vikram has been approached to play a pivotal role in Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’ SSMB29. During the media interaction in Hyderabad, ahead of the release of his drama Thangalaan, Vikram was asked about his role in SSMB 29.

Vikram replied that they had been discussing a potential project, and they would be working together on a film in coming days. He added: We haven’t zeroed in on any specifics.” His statement has fueled speculation that Vikram might play a crucial role in Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’ film. However, no official confirmation has been made yet regarding Vikram’ inclusion.
Bankrolled by KL Narayana, SSMB 29 is pegged to be one of the most expensive Indian films, which is expected to go on floors this year. The story of this upcoming drama is provided by Rajamouli’s father and veteran script writer Vijayendra Prasad.
