Famous production company Vyjayanthi Movies has contributed Rs 20 lakhs to the Telangana CM Relief Fund to aid the ongoing flood relief efforts in Telangana.
AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his Telangana counterpart Revanth Reddy have requested the Centre to declare the floods as a national calamity after heavy rainfall in both states killed 35 people. More than 35 people were killed in various rain-related incidents in both Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana amid heavy rainfall and flooding. Over 47,000 people were shifted to relief camps in AP and TG.

IMD issued a yellow warning for rainfall in 10 districts in Telangana for Tuesday, including Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mancherial, Khammam, Suryapet, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Mahabubabad.
A total of 47 rescue teams, including personnel from NDRF and SDRF, were deployed for relief operations in AP. Food packets were distributed to over 3.5 lakh people in AP on Monday.
