It is known that King Nagarjuna has joined Rajinikanth in his upcoming film, ‘Coolie’. Yesterday on the occasion of Nagarjuna’ birthday, the makers also released a poster and officially confirmed the actor’ inclusion in this upcoming action drama which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Coolie also has Gabbar Singh fame Shruti Haasan and Sathyaraj in important roles. Insider sources have revealed that Nagarjuna is being paid Rs 24 crore for his role in Rajinikanth starrer Coolie.
Nagarjuna is playing the role of a don named Simon. This hefty remuneration underscores Nagarjuna’ star power and market value. His involvement in this big budget project is a testament to his versatility and appeal across different film industries.

The collaboration between Nag and Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his directorial brilliance, promises a cinematic treat. Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer of this actioner.
Coolie is bankrolled by Kalanidhi Maran’s Sun Pictures and the film’s title was announced with a video that showed Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth in all his glory. The filmmakers recently announced that Soubin Shahir has also been roped in.
Meanwhile Nagarjuna is also shooting for Sekhar Kammula’s bilingual Telugu-Tamil project, Kubera, which is one of the most-awaited films, starring Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh.
