YCP is facing a difficult situation after losing power. Many former MLAs of YCP have already said goodbye to Jagan Mohan Reddy’ party. Recently YCP got a shock in Balakrishna Constituency Hindupuram too. Hindupuram municipal chairperson Indraja of YCP along with eight councilors joined the TDP in Hindupuram in the presence of Nandamuri Balakrishna.

On this occasion, Indraja said that she joined TDP with the belief that Balakrishna will develop the constituency in all ways. On the other hand, there are 38 councilors in Hindupuram Municipality. 30 of them won from YCP, 6 from TDP, BJP and MIM. Before the assembly elections, two councilors from YCP and MIM joined TDP. Now with the addition of nine more people, TDP’s strength has increased to 19. If another person joins, the municipality will fall under TDP. If the votes of MPs and MLAs are added, TDP’s strength will reach 21.
A few more YCP councilors are likely to join the TDP and the municipality is likely to be taken over by TDP.
